We have a corporate position opening for a Safety / Regulatory Manager.
 
As Safety Manager you will be working with senior management to develop and implement a safety system and safety culture throughout the organization.   You will provide site safety leadership, ensure compliance with corporate safety standards, implement safety directives, improve safety performance, and ensure safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations. In addition you will identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.  The Safety Manager will facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture.
 
As a Regulatory Officer you will be familiar with current regulations impacting the corporation and will work with senior management and regulatory bodies to ensure full understand and compliance of regulations across municipal, provincial, and federal requirements.
 
In addition this position will assume a support role in the company’s Quality System.   The successful candidate will support the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure ClearTech remains compliant with, and registered to, current ISO standards and all Quality System requirements, while maintaining the integrity of the organization, procedures, and quality systems.  
 
Salary will be negotiated and will be based on qualifications and experience.   This is a non-shiftwork opportunity located within the City of Edmonton; normal business hours are Monday to Friday with minimal weekend or holiday work. 
 
Regular travel to company facilities in Western Canada and Ontario is required.  All costs of travel are the responsibility of the company.  ClearTech provides a cell phone, and laptop computer along with all required safety equipment and footwear.  In addition ClearTech offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes: initial 3 weeks annual vacation on first year of employment, profit sharing plan, annual cost of living adjustments, company pension program, eye and dental coverage, medical and drug plans, plus other insurance items to be detailed upon acceptance.
 
The successful candidate will have related experience in quality, regulatory, and safety in a production environment.  Computer literacy is a fundamental requisite.
