We are currently looking for a qualified individual to fill a full time permanent Delivery Driver/Warehouse position at our Port Coquitlam location.

 

Start Date: ImmediateSalary: To be determined based on qualifications and experience; plus benefits

Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm (Overtime as required)

Area for Delivery: Lower Mainland (West Vancouver to Abbotsford)Key

 

Responsibilities

• Responsible to deliver products as required, this includes from warehouse site to customer location and supplier pickups with the cargo van

• Check customer inventory and collect payments while onsite• Establish a positive rapport with all customers and promote our products and services

• Responsible for all transportation and regulatory documents , bill of lading, and other paperwork pertaining to the delivery

• Understanding container labeling and associated product hazards• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle

• Filling incoming kit orders at the warehouse, this includes pulling inventory and wrapping skids

• Minor dish machine maintenance

• Assist in production packaging and general warehouse work

• Ensure warehouse is clean and well organized at all times

 

Requirements

• TDG

• WHIMIS

• Forklift experience

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and at least 1 year of driving experience required

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs

• Be familiar with Department of Transportation regulations

• Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety

• Ability to work independently

• Abiding by Company policies and procedures

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving
