We are currently looking to fill a permanent, full-time position in our Shipping and Receiving Department. This position reports directly to the Logistics Coordinator at our Winnipeg facility. As a key member of our team, you will thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. 

Position: Shipper/Receiver

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using the proper equipment
• Examine inbound shipments to verify accuracy to orders
• Picking, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pick up
• Schedule and coordinate with both inbound and outbound carriers and couriers
• Prepare accurate bill of lading, inter-branch inventory transfer forms, and loading papers
• Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person
• Responsible for receiving controls to meet quality system requirements
• Communicate with the customer service center, Logistics Coordinator, Business Director regarding quality and customer deliveries
• Operate within standard operating procedures and requirements of ISO, RDC, and ClearTech internal systems
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and grounds
• As required communicate with external contractors and suppliers
• Other warehouse and plant duties as assigned by Logistics Coordinator or designate  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in a chemical environment is an asset
• Understand safe chemical handling and storage
• TDG and WHIMIS training is a strength
• Forklift experience preferred
• Abiding by company policies and procedures
• Ability to problem solve and work independently or with a team
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Own reliable form of transportation
• Must be able to comfortably lift 50lbs
• Familiarity with computers
• Excellent communication skills

Working Conditions:

• Steel toe shoes required
• Frequently standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting while transferring product
• Operating mobile equipment
