We have a new position available at our Port Coquitlam facility as follows:
 
 
Position:  Full Time Maintenance Personnel
Start Date: Immediate
Salary:  Dependent on experience and qualifications; plus benefits


Key Responsibilities - Maintenance:

• Responsible for all scheduling of preventative maintenance
• Coordination with outside trades and contractors
• Coordinate routine maintenance with Senior maintenance person as required and assist where needed
• Responsible for installation of new processes under direction of Operation Manager
• Operate within standard operating procedures and requirements of ISO and RD systems.
• Complete documentation and paper work as requested by manager
• Maintain a clean and safe plant
• Spare parts ordering and inventory
• Tote testing, for certification
• Other duties as assigned on day to day basis
• Participate in capital projects as directed

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in packaging and/or a manufacturing environment is an asset
• Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety
• Following direction while working with a team and maintaining a positive and respectful workplace
• Experience in PVC piping repair/installation
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Abiding by Company policies and procedures
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving
• Experience in a chemical environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Own reliable form of transportation

Working Conditions:

• Hearing protection and steel toe shoes required
• Frequently standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting while transferring product
• Operating mobile equipment
