We are currently looking to fill a full-time permanent Chemical Plant Operator position at our Corman Park facility.  This position reports directly to the Operations Manager at our Corman Park facility located North of Saskatoon.  As a key member of our team, you will thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. 

Position: Chemical Plant Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow standard operating procedures to manufacture and package all products within specification.
• Operate within requirements of ISO, RDC, and ClearTech internal systems.
• Monitor process variables and adjust as required.
• Troubleshooting of equipment and process issues.
• Loading and unloading of railcars and trucks
• Preforms general maintenance on equipment and plant.
• Documentation of process variables and shipping/receiving information.
• Maintain a clean and safe plant.
• As required communicate with external contractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in a chemical environment
• TDG and WHIMIS training
• HMI/PLC experience
• Forklift experience
• Maintenance experience
• 4^th Class Power Engineer
• Abide by company policies and procedures.
• Ability to problem solve and work independently or with a team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Own reliable form of transportation.

Working Conditions:

• Hearing protection and steel toe shoes required.
• Occasionally required to wear additional PPE including Respirators/SCBA’s, fall arrest harnesses.
• Frequently standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting while transferring product.
• Operating mobile equipment.
